Hi, I'm a new member too, having 2 rigs crunch, but only when not online gaming
    I crunched about 200 packets the last 2 days (1x a64 3200+ @ 2.6ghz + 1x a64 3500 @ stock ==> not very much processing power for d²ol)

do you like the new team germany d2ol custom avatar?

uploaded my first 77 today for Team XS | Subteam Team Germany.
Finally I have a reason to let the compressor system run even I'm just surfing or doing stuph where I don't need processor power.
And I still need to burn-in the system because the uptimes are not that long normally. Stupid prime etc. is to boring but this makes sense.
    I'm glad I joined d2ol - took me 2 days to be addicted to it....now I need a dualcore ^^

    Hi,

I joined yesterday, in the sub-team team_germany. Whenever I don't game or bench I run D2OL with my Opty @ 3000Mhz, untill yesterday I have managed to collect 84 candidates. Keep in mind that I have gamed quite alot and benched some, and for a couple of hours the computer was offline.
I also run Folding but I became more interested in D2OL for now.

we have more than 250 today...with ~100 from me now
the 3.06GHZ are really helpfull, but a DualCore would be really amazing...imagine I could do more than 200 a day on my own even if it runs only 8h/day.
I know sayaa thinks about a new processor as well.........maybe we will get much more than only 350/day in some time!

I have direct xs to 4 shuttle 3GHZ P4 systems from work ^^
I could take some of them home one week-end and see what is the absolut max I can get on one week-end

I have just joined up, I have been meaning to for a while now. I was trying to decide which team I should join (one from Australia?, bit-tech?, XS?). I went with you guys because you all have a great forum here. Thanks for the forum.
Anyway, I now have an AXP 1700+ 24/7 (not overclocked) running D2OL 100% (at least until the new year). I am currently setting up my X2 4400+, am I right in thinking I can just use Rodzilla's (thanks BTW) 2X installer, using the same email address as per the other machine? Or is there a more advisable way of setting it up?

    Thanks all,
    Muunsyr

Hello ladies and gents. Greetings from Texas. My general Internet nic is deguello. It is a Spanish funeral march that later was used by some Spanish influenced armies to signify that a battle was about to be fought where no mercy was to be shown, everyone (women and children too) would die. No quarter. I picked it up from a ZZ Top album of the same name. I had always wondered what it meant and many years later finally looked it up. I thought it was a great name for a FPS (Quake 1) name and have used it more often since then. Most people who comment, think that I am of Latin decent because of my name. I am actually English/German on my Father's side and Irish/Native American on my Mother's. I know you must be fascinated with all this, but I get these questions so often, I decided to just state it up front.

More to the point, I just installed the D2OL client x2 on one of my dual Xeon servers here at the office. I listed it as part of the Xtreme team and just wanted to say hi. I have other boxes I might run this on in the future, but this particular server is fast and is mostly utilized (or not utilized in this case) as a lab server for testing things. When I am not testing stuff I boot off a different partition and the beast is nothing more than a print server for a single printer. I thought it would just be good karma to utilize it for a worthy cause. I have browsed the forums here for a while and never contributed in the past. I thought it would be a good time to start.

So hi from Texas! Hope this helps.

Talking If you have any issues, let me know, been there done that

to the wonderful world of D2OL where we get hyped up and then the D2oL servers (stats, etc) go down. That it works as well as it does goes to Mr. Charles B and Co. there (he's been working miracles, but he is taking some vacation time so things may be jumpy for the next 2 weeks. All will be fine in the long run )

I prolly have some notes floating around somewhere, since I've got 2 opty 170s (Me= 2.7Ghz, Beloved=2.8 Ghz(Long story)) running 11Ghz total for XS (check the veggie patch below(link).

I have been using the 4-instance installer and then disabling instances 3 & 4 after they have queued their 2000 xtra cands apiece since I'm paranoid about D2OL servers (Look at the stats & you'll see why) 2000 cands last about a 2weeks on each instance (150-180/day) so x 2 to get for the 4400 chip.

Since I turn off the other 2, got another 500 waiting for the servers to be back).

Back to work for Mad mikee...

Welcome MasterOfTheReal. Good to have you. Are those rigs 24/7? Thanks for the push. Just keep in mind - dc opty gets the 2x installer and the DX rig gets 4x installer (if it has hyperthreading).
