    Hi

hopefully my 2.5ghz amd x2 can be of use

although I am having trouble registering my 2nd node. I get this message whenever I try to add it at my home page

"This list is empty because we didn't find any other nodes in our system that matched the email address you typed in when you created your Member Account."

and I can't go through the account registration page as it gives me an email doen't match message

am I supposed to make a second account?

nope you are going to have to remember what email account you typed in for both nodes.. i had a problem with using 2 emails on different computers.. there is a way to change it through the d2ol client i believe.. i'll have too look

and yes that 2.5ghz x2 will crunch quite nicely as thats what im using right now.. does ~280 a day

    :toast WELCOME

Hello all, I am a new contributing member, alot of gratitude goes out to mad mike for spending countless hours getting my 3 rigs running molecules and atoms around the screen. I am an old man, 50+yrs but having great fun learning from you all. My favorite rig is an X2 4400+ with Dual monitors (2001FP & LD90+). I also just got the GTX KO edition GPU...wow!!! Anyway, hello all, have alot of P4 background, just beginning to learn this AMD stuff. Good thing I learned vacum tubes when in Engineering School (MSOE), it's really applicable to todays technology. I actually used 'punch cards' back in the 70's (lol). The people in this forum are warm, friendly and very helpful. I am proud to be a member of this forum, and will gladly contribute in everyway I can.

    Hello from the windy city!!!

Not sure about them joining the Mafia, I'm just welcoming them to the XS team. I would make another thread of they were joining the Mafia. I keep this thread for the XS team.

Currently an AMD 2700, but just ordered an AMD Athlon 64 X2 and will begin the build shortly. I am deciding on a mobo at the moment, leaning toward the ASUS A8N5X Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard

Welcome to the team. Are you going to continue to run the 2700+ after the X2 build? Depending on the clocks on your chips, you could potentially see 300 - 400 cans a day from your 2 rigs
