    Consolidated Tbred "B" Overclocking/Information Thread

    Just looking around the web, there does not appear to be any consolidated (e.g. one, complete source) of XP2400 and higher stepping codes/overclock results/voltage and cooling information.

    I have a friend overseas who has can get his hands on an AIUJB stepping 2400 (week 43), but theres no information posted. I thought i would post this.

    If people could answer the questions below:

    CPU (2400/2600/2700/2800):
    Stepping (Production Stepping, Batch Number, Package Colour):
    Cooling (Specifically, water/air/phase change with details):
    Voltage (what voltage used):
    Motherboard (brand/model):
    System Memory (Brand/rating):

    And copy this text into a new reply:

    Stable (Prime95) and peak frequencies are fine. If you could also mention the week, that'd help too

    This is what I got except for the fact it was a 512Mb stick.

    Unfortunately for me, this one is a POS. That overclock is for 3dmark. For day to day use it requires 1.8v for 100% stability @ 12.5x166 (i.e. I run it as a 2600+/333).

    Just luck of the draw I guess, I've seen other people with exactly the same stepping/week run far higher on air and default voltage.

    Currently trying to sell it to one of my non-overclocking friends. (I can't even "accidentally" kill and RMA it 'cos it's OEM and only came with a 30-day guarantee).

    Damn it!! AIUCB 0242 just like mine, you get 12x196 @ 1.85v on air, my max is 11.5x194.

    On the bright side, found a buyer who's not interested in overclocking, 2600+/333 on the way.
