3700+ 754pin to a 3200+ 939?

Well in the next week I hope to have everything to finish my upgrade or degrade

As now I have a 3700+ 754 pin Gigabyte K8ns gig of memory Hitachi 17" lcd ati x850xt 74 gig raptor

So I got a 3200+Veince 0518 dpcw and a asus a8n-e and have to get a pcie card and hoping to run this atleast 2500.. Hope at that speed its faster then the 3700+ But who knows.. Have anyone went this route and notice any difference?

As my other son will get this 3700+ setup

You should be able to get atleast 2600+ on that venice core with any decent heatsink fan. It should be a bit quicker since you are going up in mhz with the overclock and you will see more performance from the dual channel memory also.
