    AMD Dual Core Set-up

Hi there. I am looking at buying a dual core AMD system I have around £1000-£1500 ($1700-$2700) to spend inc monitors, mouse keyboard etc.

I would preferably like to get a 4400+ with 2gb of ram as it will be used for audio/video editing and encoding. What would be the best set-up for this? Also I would overclock it abit so bear that in mind. If someone can reccomend some parts it would be great as I am on an Intel system at the moment but want to change.

how much overclocking is a bit and did you check the sticky under general hardware for the current recommendations?

It's a great starting point. The same needs of an FX user apply to your needs pretty much.

If you go dual core - Id go for 2Gb helps. Nothing like having the horsepower only to find it's swapping all the time.

I'd also update the xs what to buy dual core system to have 2Gb too..
Still using the ADA4400DAA6CD CCBWE 0517MPMW
