so what do i need to do to cooling that mofo down
i ordered a new psu today maybe that will help
It's the IC that controls the Vcore voltage regulator (between the mosfets); nothing to do with the ACPI controller. It tells you about how hot the mosfets are, but don't worry, those are high temperature parts and don't have any problems running up in the 60's.
If you check the multi DFI threads you will see the Mosfet area gets very hot on these boards. Most of us have fans blowing across this area.
ok thanks for your help
hey man, check this:

Im moving this topic to the AMD section, as it doesn't really belong in the overclocking section, which is for oc results.

is it the silver heatsinks on the board i need to cool?
and sorry for putting it in this bit thanks for moving me in the right place
well maybe i slap a mini heatsink on it anyway might look kewl
PWM = Pulse Width Modulation - but is essentially power management (controls voltage for a given current to the cpu).
well i installed my new psu this morning now its much better
