What do these have to do with each other?
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
Swiftech MCW6000
this:
This might make sense if you're familiar with Ultra-D mounting probs This was my solution to my roommate's (airazn23) DFI's non-standard mounting probs lol.

no mounting issues with either of those moonlight.
and there wasnt a mounting issue with the MCW6002 either.. so not sure why he did that.
hmmm well for us the screws were way too short...they wouldn't even touch the board, much less screw into the backplate. So I looked around and I had a piece of foam around. I've read about these problems before though, so I thought it was common.

Not the first time its good to have a sack..... My friends got the same problem. I'll try this tommorow and see if it helps.... Good idea... How long are the longer screws you used. And yea pair of nuts would have helped.
If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.
why is this a good idea.. just use appropriately lengthed screws.. or if urs are too long cut them shorter.. no need for ghetto stuff like this.
That's going to give you awful contact too, it's too soft.
For those of you about to post:
LOL take the freaking spring and washer off the screw and its long enuff. Just screw down five turns each until you cant move the block.
