Woot!!!!!! Finally!

I've been battling the pump for hours, even days, and FINALLY I've gotten some results out of it. Perhaps its the double hose that's working.

The Pump has a 3/8 inch and standard refrigeration fitting. So I put a 3/8" stem and flared it, then connected it to the pump. So I've got two hoses pumping through the system. I'm not using the manifold.

I sweat the coupling and put a Tee with a 5/16" stem and union on it for a connection to the high side. Now I'm drawing a Vac from the High and Low Side via the Rota-lock on the compressor suction line.

Now I'm drawing 285 Microns, and its falling, slowly, but falling. Its either that, or the fact that instead of letting the nitro escape completely, I turn on the pump at about 5PSI and let it suck the rest out.

Either way, it started last week, it wouldn't draw below 800. I changed the oil, and it wouldn't draw below 700. I cleaned it out and it then wouldn't draw below 500. Now it seems to be drawing a deep vac successfuly!

I'm so excited.
