    X700/X300SE/X800 Crossfire

    I saw a link which test with 2xX700 , 2xX300SE in crossfire action , is it true ?

    Weird.
    I thought only the X800/X850 and newer cards would support Crossfire.

    It looks real though.

    So crossfire with X700/X300 is true , maybe X600 can be , too

    Some of the CF results are more than 2x the single card result...looks fishy.

    I didnt know anything less than r520 supported crossfire. If older cards did, why has no one tried two of them by now?

    Maybe just a few people have the ATI Crossfire Sample chipset , but they dont have ATI Vid cards

    Those guys at HKEPC, found out the way (cracked it) to get Crossfire running completely on software, without need for the crossfire master card. The problem is you only have the performance numbers, because onscreen you only see the frames rendered byone card, due to no image engine which gets the frames of the two cards and outputs them together.

    Example: You get 100FPS on gt1 but you actually only see 50FPS on screen, thoughh the 3dmark score belongs to a 100FPS GT1 run.

    It sounds right , but how did u know that ? I'm confused now
