If that mushkin could do 225mhz id buy it. 225mhz is the minimum ram speed ill except because none of my dividers below 150 work.
yeah im looking for something to run atleast 250mhz cas 3-3-3 or better before i buy i want to run 1-1 11x250 for my cpu to max out

VERY nice again, nugzo!!
Quick question...what's the color of the PCB on your Ballistix?
Oh, EnJoY....might as well put up that 200 2.5-2-2-5 I posted earlier...I won't have anything better for a very long time, if ever (decided to check exactly how stable my sticks were [the 263 I had was in NO way stable] and they couldn't get through an entire memtest run at any voltages at 250 3-4-4-8....RMA in process).

its black. ballistix tracer (ones with teh pretty lights) 280 was doin fine in memtest. wont pass super pi 32m tho. gonna mess with timings tomorrow.

Mine was black too....couldn't be BP808 then, could it? I wonder if the better sticks are tracer...?
One things for sure, the thread somehow got un-stickied?

Just noticed that too....very odd.

My Ballistix come in tomorrow. I tried ordering the ones with no lights from Crucial, but they're located here in Texas so that would mean I would pay taxes and shipping which came out to more than 410.00. I ordered the sticks from newegg, they only had the tracer ones though.
I hope my luck is as good as you guys.

Anybody who has some working -5B D (i.e., I can't answer my own question)....does setting 2T help? I remember seeing awhile back that 2T helped TREMENDOUSLY. Coulda been for something else though.
Yeah, yeah, I know that avoiding 2T is the reason why most of us got 2x1GB, but IIRC, the difference was like 40MHz and made up for the loss in spades.
EnJoY....I think you should include whether or not someone's Ballistix were tracer or not, I have this gut feeling the Tracer are better on average. Too bad the lights suck, else I'd return these (RMAing anyway) and spend the extra 30 on some Tracer.

Any time I have for benching is going towards a Venice I just picked up and of course I'll be testing 2x512 to start. It may be a while before I detemine whether the Venice is fast enough to get a spot in my gaming rig. By then I may have elected to go with the Micron since it seems to kick ass. I'm also doing better.
Will post later links later, but I'm 32meg stable at 265mhz
Yes, I confirmed those on a previous page. I'm currently trying to work up some magic to OC this stupid VIA board. I can easily hit 235Mhz 1T, but unstable (due to mobo). Truth be told, I think these have a good chance of hitting higher freq's.Originally Posted by philoni

What tREF and drive strength values are you guys using on your 1024MB modules? Especially the Crucial Ballistix and Value sticks.
