From my stateroom when I got married on a cruise boat in January.

I think that's a shot of downtown Miami from the port although I'm not sure since I'm not from around there.

Edit: LOL forgot to add the picture, too bad I had to scale it down the original looked better.

    thanks for the images!

intersetingly enough the chromatic aberations your camera creates are blue in color which is a change from the normal purple. what im refering to is the blue halo around the bright lights. its an error that happens with digicams when dark (black) and bright white are butted up to one another.

no... its just "different." and that fringing issue is present in all digi cams so dont really worry about it.

Could have been a good shot, But I left the flash on and had it set on Macro.

Then again, Considering it was taken out of a moving vehicle with a semi-drunk driver.. Not too bad..

Well, I tend to get alot of pictures like those one's. I've got a few insane looking sunset pictures.
Its great living in an area with BIG sod-farms around. Just lay down on the field and get a good shot. I just wish my new camera had a setting for pro-longed exposure.

transam, very cool shot, but I think I would have done it a bit differently. A long exposure of that with a time delayed flash which goes off at the beging and middle of the shot would have been VERY cool.

but in any case, very cool.

just wondering here, but from the looks of it he didnt land that one? how did it end up?

yeah, I have a minolta dimage X50. I wanted something compact I could go skating with or bring to concerts. This is a shot of me doing an ollie up the front stairs at Union Square in NY. I landed the ollie just fine. We set this launch up and my frined tino managed to ollie over a mini cooper a few weeks later. I lost the image due to HD corruption. That was quite the ollie!

cool shots maxx! Kinda reminds me of the album cover to don caballero's "what burns never returns" the street light halo effects are the raddest! I have a sequence shot mode on this cam, so it's very good for action shots especially when your shutter isn't firing as fast as you would like it to. I will try the time delayed shots in tonight at the fireworks show.
