I've found the VID special control to help a lot.

And wasn't this supposed to be a <2600 thread.

Vapor I just did the <2600 because that's as high as I could go, and oddly enough I was #1. I'm not really pushing to get #1 back or anything. I got my 2nd video card today, I've got my 4400+.. I'm gonna push em to the max :P

And as for stock cooling are you kidding? lol I just went straight to the water--I was too excited.

And Igor, I personally can't say if it's good or not but I think you can rest assured most 7800GTX are going to clock nicely no matter where they come from. They all seem to have around the same potential.

Sorry Gorod...I couldn't play by the rules, they just bored me too much.

2655MHz is what I ran at.

    Toledo 4400+ @ 2655, 1.59V, 295x9.0
Stock cooling all the way around
    DFI nForce4 SLI-DR
    2x512MB, 295 2.5-4-4-8-1T, 2.7V
    BFG 7800GTX @ 525/1460
WinXP SP2, DX9, FW 77.72, LOD +3 (got a few other tweaks in there...)

    3DMark2001se: 33051

Thinkin' I might just pull a higher clocked GTX with my 4400+ at 2595MHz.
