    Pocket bike or X900 XT/Athlon 64 X2?

Which one do you think would be more fun, a pocket bike or an X900 XT/Athlon 64 X2?

I've been thinking a lot about this lately, and I need some help coming to a conclusion. I've always thought having a pocket bike would be extremely cool, but hardware is also nice.

We already know what hardware can do, so here's a nice video showing some of the fun that can be had with pocket bikes.

Apparently they can go up to 50 km/h with no trouble at all, on that site I linked to there's one that they made that goes as fast as 120km/h!

    Let your vote count!

Pocket Bike, you got a nice rig and you should have some fun outside now that it is sunny (in Europe that is :p).

unless it was a honda superbike id have to take the X2 and X900XT...

pocket bike is just no contest... and do u really have to make a poll to find out what we ALL are going ot say.. though i do suspect some will feel they need to be defiant and pick the moped.

Pocket bikes are pointless, get a real vehicle if you want transportation. My truck cost 300$, and it has an aftermarket 6000LB suspension and an extreme torque gear setup, if you shop around you can find good vehicles for reasonable prices. I just needed to rebuild the distributer and it was fine.

A pocketbike isn't made for transporation but for fun

The votes are overwhelmingly in favour of choosing new hardware over a pocket bike. I must admit, these results are rather surprising.

i tried rising one of those pocket bikes once, i couldnt even ride the stupid thing. I felt so cramped up. Maybe its becuase i dont balance well or maybe its becuase im 6 foot 4 inches.

Mmmm now that IS a tough choice...

Embarrased because of being a geek with all the coolest gear...

Embarrased cos you've got what looks like a superbike, if you're 3' tall...

I'm happy enough being a geek myself, and at least you can be proud having a really cool rig among geeks, but I'm not sure exactly where you could brag about having a bike that size, and at least I only get laughed at when I'm at home, whereas you might just get laughed at everywhere you rode that awful little thing...

It's really your choice, and YES it'd befun for a little while, but I've gotta vote with my heart...

Yeah, I'll probably end up getting new hardware rather than a miniature motorcycle. I've been doing some reading and there's no way to make pocket bikes street legal in Ontario.

Perhaps I'll settle for making a water chiller and getting a new case.

I think what I'll probably do is build a water chiller because I've always wanted to mess with some Xtreme cooling. Then later (Christmas, maybe later) I might buy an X2 and an X900 XT. Things should be a little cheaper by then, but it'll still be nice and fast. Plus, with the chiller I'll be able to clock the hell out of both my GPU and CPU.

Definitely getting my regular water cooling going soon... too many things to buy.

the pocketbike would see very limited use in my case, I usually play some sort of game so I'd go with the x900xt
