    Raid with different Cache Size

Are there any negetive effects of running 2 disks in Raid 0 with different cache sizes. I have 2 80gb 7200.7 barracudas one i pulled from a dell dimension and has 2mb of cache and one i bought and has 8mb of cache. Would these be able to be run in raid 0 without any performance hits.

Haven't tried it. AFAIK raid arrays have to consist of identical drives.

    But I run RAID 1.

Give it a shot and let us know if it works is the best I can offer.
