By far the 2400+ T-bred B revision is your best value and highest overclocker of the 2 cpu's. This is a bang for the buck thing..and the current 2400+ crop has shown itself to put up some great numbers. Also..for the few bucks more you'll have a cpu that will stay with you a bit longer than the 2200+ because of the higher overclock capability. Good luck my friend

thanks. how do i tell if it is a "b" crop?
well if u order it from newegg, your like 97% garunteed a B version. mostly because they get like shipments like every week of them, and they only make B versions of the 2400+ now
msi k8n neo2 plat
3200+ winchester (10x262)
bfg 6800gt
pdp pc3200 xbl
thermalright xp-90 w/7v tornado 92mm
Humm, is there any 2400 T-Bred 'A' anywhere? I thought they were all 'B' ...
I owned both - the 2400 is the best buy but of course it is much pricer...my 2200 would oc up to 2.1 ghz and the 2400 to 2.32 on air...
