Methinks a dual core for half the price is the way to go this time around...

What's the difference between their CPU and an FX55 San Diego?
    Theirs being an 'engineering sample'?

From what I've seen in their pics the CPU they use seems to have a default multiplier of 13x.

I mean the first picture on the second page.

They call their 2.8Ghz shot 'overclocking'.

This is overclocking comparing to FX55.
It`s just a preview of how FX57 will look and perform like. The real FX57 will have SD core and x14 multy.

Then why do they call theirs a 'special FX57 engineering sample' and do they photoshop the pictures?

I think it`s just a joke. I don`t see the reason why should they edit the pics.

I wonder how much they will overclock right out the box with the stock hsf? Not that anyone buying this cpu would, but I'm curious?
The little air system that could.

I think they are trying to complain that the holdout on releasing the FX57 is just to squeeze more money out of the FX55 line.
For those of you about to post:

    They have an FX-55 SD & overclockin' it at 2.8GHz [ fx-57 freq ].
that's what they meant & did.
