i'm scared to death to take off the IHS from may venice.... is it really worth? what's is the gain? about 80MHz people use to say.... i don't think it is worth of losing warranty.... by the time it ends i'll give it a try! lol

I'm trying to beat 28s with Venice 3000+ (LBBLE 0517EPAW) on air but the ambient temps here are very high and have to rely on a room a/c.

    The closest I've come so far and w/o much tweakin' (will make nice comparison with babyelf's post above) is 28.594s @ CPU speed = 3004Mhz w/ 2 x 512 MB PDP XBLK @ 300MHz and 3-4-3-8 1T .

If you can tighten those ram timings up im sure youll break it.

    Thanks and Wish me luck

At the best at 300.4MHz, as my experiments have shown, I can run my 2 x 512 PDP @ 2.5-4-3-8. So, tightening Tcas to 2.5 from my current value of 3 and hopefully other A64Tweaker parameters might probably get me to 28s !
