SLI - Nvidia vs Intel - on a budget.

Asus P5NSLI vs Asus P5B Deluxe
    91.45's vs 85.96's

    Stock (for now)
    '06
    4625 - 4475

    '05
    9420 - 9114

    E6300
    2x EVGA 6800GS's, (425/1100) with PCB bridge from A8N-SLI
    P5B Deluxe 0711 BIOS, second PCI-E set to 4x
P5NSLI, 0601 BIOS, all auto settings.

Thus far it looks like a 3.2% advantage for the P5NSLI

More results to follow if there's any interest

You try to OC a E6300 on a P5NSLI - it will struggle for 350MHz as for P5B Deluxe - it goes 500MHz easy

That's why I replaced it with the P5B Deluxe, mine actually maxed out at a measly 325.

That was my max. The BIOS max was 400, Ntune only allowed 332, and I haven't heard of anyone getting above 332-3 with this board. (but I haven't been on these forums long). I never upped the vcore, didn't really think it was necessary for a couple hundred MHz, but I did max the RAM, chipset and termination voltages just to hit 325.

Anyway, the P5NSLI is history, I'm just going to post some clock per clock comparisons, and then the final ultimate result with the P5B.
