wow! thats awesome. that laptop should be good enough for any 3d game for years. how much did you pay for it? the Pentium-M is the best processor clock for clock on the planet still. plus the g-force 6800 go seems pretty formidable even not an ultra. did ou try using riva -tuner to unlock the pipes?

havent tried riva tuner yet, but I paid around 1650 total for it. This laptop is running soooo cool with undervolting and a bunch of other management software I put on it. It's meant to be a desktop replacement while I'm in college because I don't wanna lug around a big desktop everytime I have to go home or leave for college.Originally Posted by Kanavit
Wow, thats probably the fastest laptop. With some tweaking other stuff, u could get 10k. Thats probably the fastest laptop on the orb.
what prog did u use to undervolt it?
Nice score btw!!!!!(about 3k More than my workstation )

I got 10217 OCing the laptop in this review here :p
401/810 clocks, 1.6ghz Pentium M
oh man
i used centrino hardware control, very nice prog. To do testing just first set the maximal values(ie: highest multi with lowest desired voltage) and then set it to max performance profile and then run occt or prime. Repeat the steps for min voltage and multi.Originally Posted by Frederik
lol, u got lucky then. Dell substitutes the 4200rpm hard drives with 5400rpm hard drives when they run out
oh man
almost 10k http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4052464
and this is with dynamic switching on(where it adjusts multi and voltage based on load). This is scored using xtreme g driver 77.62 type 1 without any extra tweaks. also same clocks as the score from b4.
I just checked orb and im scoring similarly to guys clocked 380/780. If I had it clocked higher it might break 12k

to use as reference, here is a guy who has a dell laptop with a Pentium-m 2.13ghz dothan, and a Geforce 6800 ultra go mobile gfx chip. He didn't post a 3dmark score, but aquamark3, and got a respectable high 72k+ score with this system. i would be interested to see how you fare against his marks.
link.

lol his 6800ultra go and 2.13 would completley decimate my scores because the 6800ultra has 16 pipes and its clocked higher, and also the 2.13 is also much higher then my 1.73....
never the less I will run aquamark just to see how high I can get it.
edit: i scored 56,xxx with background programs running, i will try later without stuff running.

wow, awesome.

putting my cpu at full speed and turning off background apps got me 58k http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_vie...run=1832493569
not bad.

negative meaning lesser image quality or higher performance , i take it?

higher image quality, lower performance, try setting ur lod to -1 or higher and see how much better everything looks(use riva tuner)
that aqua score is higher then most people can get on there desktops....Originally Posted by Kanavit
