Need some help with a floppy power conn.

I found a floppy conn that I wanted to use to plug into the spot on my MB.

So I tried to put it in, I figured sweet I can plug the floppy conn in, then the molex that is adjascent to it. Well I did that, fed it some power, and when I turned on my comp basically the only fans spinning were my CPU fan, a small 60 MM to cool off the mosfets, the top fan, and the NB and ATi 5 fan.

So I was like ok maybe I fed it off the wrong one, but I didnt. Now I have 2 male connectors on this wire, so I thought maybe thats why.

So I plugged in only the floppy style conn, then plugged the other one off the cable that feeds to my HD as I had it, and some of my fans were blasting 100%. They are hooked up to a vantec controller, so I dunno why they do that as the knob was turned all the way down.

What am I doing wrong? I have a PC Power and Cooling 510 SLI PSU, but obviously Im missing something

Heres a pic of the conn.

The fans controlled by the mobo/bios are turning he said, the ones that are not going on are some fans from his vantec controllers.
