Typo or binned TCCD/TCC5?
Formerly XIP, now just P.
maybe some old school 'cream' BH-5, maybe
The sticker seems to say 2-2-2-6 btw, so the timings aren't a typo.
NajZ, no winbond chip can do those timings with that low of voltage.
Formerly XIP, now just P.
im confused too. If they sold it as 1x 512I would buy it. But dont have enough for 2.

I have read a few good reviews on their lower specced ram (cas 2.5 ddr 400). Wasnt there a guy a few weeks ago asking for input on ram. IIRC he was from gigaramOriginally Posted by Nubius

If I recall correctly, there was a recent thread from a guy asking for opinions on chips. This guy asked what was an ideal latency and etc. as he needed data for a certain company on what kind of performance ocing chips ocers want. This company was Gigaram.
Maybe this is one of the current development, but i doubt it.
yea that's what I was thinkin. Dont know thoOriginally Posted by shadowing

hmmm most likely new bh5 id say...
too cheap for tcc5/tccd i think... hmmm could be possible as well though
or it could be micron memory? hmmm

2.5v for 433 is insane tho for bh5, I would expect AT LEAST 3+ for bh5Originally Posted by JfRsQ

my twinmos 3700 (DDR466) based on good old bad4ss bh5 is rated for 233mhz 2.5-3-3 with 2.7v i think... 216mhz/DDR433 2-2-2 with 2.5v sounds weird...
dont worry. i'll find out soon enough
would be nice they are cheap if they have that tipe of speed.
p.d. i also remember the guy asking fot advises, he said that 300mhz 2-2-2-5 at any volt would be insane, so i dont think that memo is labeled correctly, he also said they would make the chips maybe is a new awsome chip.
he said 250 2-2-2-5 should be doable for that new ram never said anything about volts thought
I think there's a typo there...and newegg forgot to specify the timings at 2.5v...because even the best of old bh-5 needed 2.8+ to post at 2-2-2.
Perkam
look at this is not bh5 not tccdOriginally Posted by perkam
Now I know it won't be BH-5 or TCCD, but just wondering what I should tell them in terms of a balance of timings vs. raw speed.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...hlight=gigarammight be some new chip hope so ill buy it right now if performs like the specsi think they do both. They started off producing just ram chips and selling them but now they actually make the chips and the stick itself I think.

Let's just hope these kick butt!! It'd be a right time for a new chip to come in...
Well at least they got the "gig" right.
Not to stray off topic, but what chips do these use?

2.3V?
that gigastuff might be Micron.
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
