I really have to get my Ultra-D outfitted with one of these. This P4G8X with a P-4 @ 3.0 isn't cutting it. I feel like I have been waiting for dual core all of my life. It just makes sense to me.

"Coming out" does not equal retail availability however.

yup, i found stock indicating 10th june. they have same date for all the chips but they have some weird pricing. 416,460,620 and 780, in £'s. thats what, 600,700, 900 and just over $1000 for the 4800 . thing is, by the official pricing, $520/560 for the 4200/4400 these prices are way way over. Stores often get prices wrong though, IIRC the place had the 3700+ listed at almost £300, but that dropped to be inline with most places to £230. I'm guessing its just initial prices are wrong and they'll be closer to £300 for the 4200+. Think i'm gonna splash out and get the 4400+.

June 10th? Where did you get that from? It would be great to have it so early, though. I'm aiming for a 4400+ X2 myself.

Distributor listings show ETA as 7th June. Distributor in question placing order for 200 each of the 4200 and 4400 and 50 each of the 4600 and 4800.

venice's i believe were available in online stores in the uk before the US, as in shipped, the 3800+ like a day/two before they shipped from stores in the states.

winchester some of the first available in the world were from evesham's web outlet store (though venice's still aren't on there). uk/europe gets plenty of stuff first, i guess its getting better as since we get ripped off and for first things being a little expensive too till wide availability companies can make a tiny bit more profit in europe. again at overclock.co.uk where i worked we had some of the first x800 pro's in after release.

the 10th june i saw is a , i always forget where it is, a european store that me and a few people have ordered from, i'm from england and have no trouble getting stuff early. really do want me a 4400+ i run loads of stuff in the background on main gaming rig so will help out a lot straight away, then when the rest of the 2nd core can be utilised aswell it will just get better.
