    4000+ San Diego + 1GB OCZ PC3200 GOLD UTT BH-5

Started playing with 4000+ San Diego cpu and 2x 512MB OCZ PC3200 Gold UTT BH-5 ram and found a big difference in SuperPi 16M and 32M times when SLI mode and winxp pro SP2 services are disabled!

While bandwidth of sandy might not be as fast as winnie/newcastle, the cpu sures does bring out the best in my ram. OCZ PC3200 Gold UTT BH-5 does 6-8mhz faster on sandy @268mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.64v

    System

My personal best and faster 32M time i've ever done so far.

That's like 72-76+ seconds faster time difference at 32M!

So enabling SLI makes your processor slower? It has a relatively large amount of CPU utilization like running RAID?

yeah SLI does consume cpu resources - just look at 3dmark cpu scores in SLI vs non-SLI benches some folks post

gsan, there's only one OCZ PC3200 Gold and that uses UTT BH-5. This is the exact same pair benched at http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=58374 and http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=61204
