yup, running 1:1 mem would definately kick ass ... you can clock the mem 20-30 MHz lower and still be a lot faster...

It's been a while m8. How are things?

Very Extreme. . Nice overclock. What do you run at 24/7?
Abit NF7-s
AMD XP2100+ @ 2.63Ghz
Corsair XMS3000
ATi 9500 @ 411/297
Good job JCViggen,
Any pictures available of your test setup?

Just imagine an ugly prometeia with 2 watercooling hoses coming out of it for the R 9700
Whats the answer to this question?

Performance wise... well it comes out of the ATi factory like any other card.... same PCB, different colour ..... you need to get lucky, or try a lot of them... they're all different :s
They ALL(Gigabyte, Tyan, Hercules, Sapphire) come from ATI's factories?
Anyway, nice job,
Yup, all the same PCB... and I dont just mean the lay-out , they physically are built in the same placesOriginally posted by Penguin4x4

Not tyan. At least they claim it has a redesigned board layout. I don't think they are built at same place as the others, since it has a different PCB color.Originally posted by JCviggen

Tyan have done a redesign of the PCB layout, and i believe they will make it themselves. Given how §§§§e some of the memory is overclocking on most 9700s, this could be a huge benefit to overclocking.
Set me free.
