whats the significance of this other than valve put a lot of detail in the game?

i don't think i actively noticed it though. and that plate cover loooks nothing like the ones ih hl2, and still the ones in the original were orange, so i guess valve had a little lapse...

Also has anyone ever taken 'Dogs' ball to Ravenholm? It's a lot of fun. Zombies/headcrabs attack it, as tey think it's combin, they leave u alone, lol. It also kills headcrabs on it's own.

yea we noticed that too. i liek little easter egg type items that get you high off nostalgia liek that.

you want a hard mod though go get substance form hl2files.com im still wokring on that one.

The Jar in Eli's Lab, is one of those cremator's, that never made the final game.

Also just after you blow up the chopper, and before you open the dam, to go to Black Mesa East, there are 2 sewage pipes. If you go in the broken one, and bunny hop to the end, there is a vortigaunt, there who tells you stuff. But the one who fits your machin gun to the boat, says the same, ehehe.
