    Smile s754 at 38K

Played with dry ice for second time this morning. Had a lot of problems wiht BSOD's and crashes, but I finally got it mostly bench-stable at 3.2ghz. X800 XT was at 630/618, vmodded and air-cooled.
    Link: 38,015

Water droplets formed on mobo during bench, but I put on some more nail polish and didn't have much problem. All I used was foam donut on top side of mobo, and foam between backplate on backside.

    A few pics.

I was very suprised at the results, hehe. Went from bad morning > good morning

Damn I envy you! Your work is very very impressive. I've been trying to come an earshot of your air score and have failed to even do that.

    Respect.

How about putting that X800 on dry ice?

    Thanks guys

Gautam, I think I will eventually dice the X800, but not this go-round I'm still nervous about doing it, simply cause I'm screwed if I boxor it..... but I'm sure I won't be able to help myself in the end

And zakelwe I *think* mine is the new top 754 score.

    *EDIT* Yes G H Z, it's a Chilly unit.

wow. Maybe on a better day 3.3 might be benchable, and with your X800 under dice, U might be the only one to get 40K on S754.

Well assuming I got everything to play nice under DI, I think I could take 39K, but honestly I think it would take more luck than I have to break 40K. Of course I will do my best when I go for it, but imo it's too big a stretch. I know someone like OPP could to it, with his skills and cascades, but for a mere mortal with dry ice......

    We'll see

Actually 3.3ghz is about my max suicide shot No chance of getting it benchable. Even if I could get my CPU higher (which I can't, 3220mhz hard-locked in 3D), ~3240mhz would be max due to my memory holding me back -- can only do 270mhz semi-stable (for 270x12).

Still, 40K on 754 would rock like nothing else....

    NOOOOOO GIVEEEE MEEEEE!

Actually the DFI/DTR/6800 are in a case water cooled right infront of my legs. Done with benching. Gaming till I can afford new stuff and I get phase change.

Very nice! I plan on contending for the top s754 spot when my PS gets here. I am nearly to 30k on stock cooling so I know this chip has some headroom. I also have to get this card modded as it don't clock for crap lol. But, congrats on the score for now. Did you try and AM3 run at 267x12?
