How tight can I run my TCCD with 300FSB?

    I'm running 300 x 9 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.9v 1:1 1T, is it possible to do better (tighter)?

So far, I failed. Any advises.

    Thanks

if you REALLY are able to run 300 2.5 3 3 7 then you must be a very happy camper since with my TCCD (OCZ REV2) there is no way in hell i can even run 290 at 2.5 3 3 7..actually i used to run them at 2.5 4 3 7 289 for a few months OCCT/Prime stable - but recently i got issues and lost this overclock (have no idea why) ...so they dont even do 289 2.5 4 3 7 anymore. After weeks of tweaking and playing with voltages i had to run them at 10x260 2.5 3 3 7 now.

If i were you i would start up loser and having less expections than running 300 2.5 3 3 7 OCCT/Prime stable.....you say you FAIL...but the same time you seek even tighter timings

BNtw. m,emtest is worthless as you see...its good for testing your mem and the voltages....but what use does it have if you run it 8hrs ok but have troubles w/ prime under load then. Memtest cannot really be used as a "real world" stability test...many people think so but its not the case.

I thought that maybe it was my Vcore and heat that prevent me to get it Prime stable, because of heat I'm stuck at 1.450 x 110% (1.536v cpuz). I read somewhere that in Blend I should put 800 in memory to use, because Prime blend might go to the HD sometimes and that is why I fail that test. That is why I said working on it (Prime95).

It is nice to know that the timings that I've got is acceptable

    Thanks

Kosmic, click on some of the results in this thread for suggestions...

...although most at 300HTT are at 2.5-4-3-7.

So far at 2.5-4-3-7 I've managed to get my OCZ Rev.2 upto 310 Memtest, P95 and SuperPi stable.

i would be thrilled to run 300x9 @ 2.5-3-3-x - and i can run that in dos memtest all day long but windows stability is another thing all together!!

you could try twtr=1 - might be able to run that - but since you have trcd=3 it might put too much strain.........try and report back though!!

i can do 2.5/3/3/7 at a little over 300mhz but i had to spring for g.skill pc4800 and had to be limited to 512mb. my "regular" tccd -pqi turbo- is only good at those timings to around 270. pretty sure its rare to do any better than you are doing without "special" dfi ram.

It is the best I can do. I've got a big house fan in front of it (case side wall removed) room temp at 18C. At room temp 21C it gave me 2 errors at pass
    45 and 2 more at pass 59.

i can pass memtest dos at speeds a lot higher than i can do in windows xp that is for sure.....

so once you get memtest dos stable - try passing memtest windows - if you can do 1000% you are pretty good to go!!
