Im here most of the day just replied when i have something solid to say.
Charlie and John are reviewers that we sent modules too last week from my understanding. We sent it to several places. They are prob the 1st to post their results. We dont cherry pick. All reviewers and magazines get the same stuff from the same stock that goes out to the distribution, retail, etailers, resellers channel. Nothing is special. I know we have been working a long time to bin and test to get the rated specs.

I was planning on buying some LE's for my future A64 setup, but these sticks look pretty good. What do you guys think?

It depends on your choice of motherboard, cpu, multi's, tolerance for heat, noise and a host of other things... what are you trying to build??

Yeah, see you're good as gold, then... run MUSHKIN Redline at about 230-240 (using 3.3v rail and 3.2v actual Vdimm, for heat/reliability concerns) or run the 5v rail for about 250-260 @ 3.4-3.5v...
    Bench even higher...
The ability to choose your own multi ensures that you're always in your "power band", as we used to see in "gearhead" talk...

You have any retailers in Canada that will carry these?

    @Charlie or John

So, can anyone of you show how is this RAM doing in some SuperPi 32M calculation? How far can you push it and still be stable enough for that task?
We all know that 3D stability equals to pretty much 8-16M calculation in SuperPi (at least, that comes from my experience ).

I just hope that I will still be here when everyone that tests and shows off RAM/CPU on XS will provide not only "highest benchable" but also "highest rock-stable" clocks

Charlie, do you want to be the first, when you get your rig up n' running again ?

    MMM..I see!

I'm very glad that Muchkin is getting these modules out. I think they are a very good company.
These modules are going to sell like hot cakes!

Thanks C for the sneak peak!

lol... i just can't be "without" my rig for as long as it takes to run 32M, hehehehe....

32M, what is that? Like a hour or so?? Probably the same setup I use to run D2OL...

easy fix = have more than one rig

    32M doesn't take long to run i.e.

    i imagine @270-290mhz 2-2-2-6 should be quicker

The 32M takes, I believe, about 25min? I can do AIM and listen to music at the same time. Anyway, you build computers... get some CHEAP pIII and use that as a 2nd. Then go buy a KVM switch for 20 bucks. That's exactly what I do. I had a pIII 450mhz with 512 pc100, 15gig hdd... the thing did what it needed to do MINUS playing video games at quality. I used that thing as backup for so long, and it costed me NOTHING since I end up with extra old parts from friends/family that need me to build/fix their stuff.

Hell I could give you a pII for free if you wanted. You spend all this casheesh on good stuff... spare just a few bux for a backup baby!

This stuff is imho extreme. From my own experience I can say this stuff does great with low volts too (3,1-3,3V and of course it requires a bit of tweaking).

Any clue how if it's better to sink this stuff? I have 2x60mm fans that blow over my ram (I had it there for my UTT before it stopped POSTing), so now it's over my TCCD. I'm gonna put the UTT back in eventually when I can tweak the board to accept it again, but if I were to get these should I sink them too? I wouldn't mind running 3.6v to it all day. I'd add a 3rd 60mm fan for cooling... just wondering if sinks will make it better or worse.
