    New DFI NF3 Bios - 4/15/05 Beta

    http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9655

Seems to have made a few changes. Tic-tac? Wanna add 4.0vdimm and make sure bank interleaving is still working in this?

    - Latest 4.0 Vdimm Modded Bios

5/04 Download now available here: http://www.hl2online.com/downloads/D...4-R1-vdimm.zip

EnJoY's Xtreme Bandwidth/Xtreme Stability BH - UTT Settings:

Here are the mem timings I use for my BH6, and they do 265 with 3.5volts. Currently using dimms 1+3 with 4/15 tictac bios.

If you get instability, you can turn the mas async latenices down from

Actually, many seem to agree that they've been very neglectful of the NF3 board since the NF4 was released. Oskar_Wu simply doesn't have enough time to perfect both it seems anymore. Hence, we NF3 users get half-***ed beta bios's every few months with broken features and bugs still left unfixed.

i would agree, though i've been using an unmodded verion of 4/15 since last monday, and it seems to be working pretty well. managed to hit 262mhz at 2.5-2-2-10 with a bunch of vcore to overcome the memory controller

though i too await a modded version of this bios.
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

How much vcore are you using? I notice you're using air cooling. So am I, a XP-90 on a 3400+ NC, and I can't get it stable past 255MHz 2.5-3-3-10 1T (2x512 TCCD) even when using 1.62 vcore. I'm afraid to go any higher on air.

i top out around 255 (curious eh?) with 1.55v, but with 1.8v (1.78 actual) i was able to get there.. i had the same exact settings both times, but with 1.55v, i used the 9x cpu multi and 1.8v i used 10x
that's with one stick though. with two, i have trouble getting past 240-245mhz in windows.

The link EnJoY posted is for the 754 nF3 board. Read the signatures of the people who posted replies on the linked thread.

EDIT: All posts that were nF4-related have been deleted to avoid confusion and possible user error(s).

I still haven't tried it yet, I run my BH6 on 3.4volts for 260MHz, 24/7 so I need it modded before I can use it. Any testing reports on this from anyone yet? Any changes in mem bandwidth, etc?

Good to know Jiff. Have you tried enabling bank interleaving? It's a new option, it was first introduced in the January beta, and I've been using that. Nets me about 50mbps more bandwidth in memtest. How's my mobile doing btw? I miss it.

Take her to 2.9 and beyond! She can do it, I've seen it. You're using water on her right? If so, up to around 1.8-1.85vcore should be fine for her.
