Question Need help to choose memory

    Hi all.
I'm building a new rig with DFI Sli-D and San-Diego 3700+ and need help to choose memory. I've narrowed down my choice to:
    *OCZ PC4000 Gold VX
*OCZ PC5000 Platinum Special DFI nF4
    *G.Skill F1-4800DSU2-1GBLA

What would be the wisest choice for best performance? Very high FSB with G.Skill and OCZ PC5000 or very tight timings with OCZ VX?

Is it good to run 24/7 with the high voltages needed for the VX?

    Thanks a lot!

I would go with the OCZ PC5000 as that will require less VDIMM and won't require an active cooling for the mosfets. With some good you might even get to ~700 MHz DDR wich should definitely be better than 270-280 that you could get with the VXes and very high VDIMM.

Problem is, he is going to have a multiplier of 11. You might as well take advantage of that and get lower latency ram, such as the new BH5 that can do anywhere from 250 - 270 mhz @ 2,2,2,5.. Keep the 11 multiplier up and you have a banging system.
