    Average FX-55 Overclock?

    Like the title says just wodnering what an average FX-55 overclcok on water would be? Im stuck around at 3.0ghz and was getting 2.9 out of my 4000+ so was hoping for a bit more?

    I'm thinking that's about normal for water.

    I'm getting 2.9GHz on water (0510 FX-55)

    well I would say that 2.9 on water is a perfect average with these results even though there is a small sample size

    2.9 here too, 3Ghz requires 1.75v....a bit too much for my comfort (on water but still) 0508 IIRC

    Hey bradmax, not a bad chip u have there, how bout a CPUZ shot of the chip at 3ghz, the memory timings, and a sandra run...that would help us see much better your situation. (yes I know he has a sig )

    I got around 2.8Ghz at just under 1.7v with 30+ degrees ambient temperature.

    In that screen you are using a 11.5 multi so no its not 1:1 half multi's use the next lowest full multiplier to divide.
