    "Chilling" Air

    Hi everyone!

I was thinking, what would I need to keep the air going to my components at room temperature all the time? I was thinking, getting and array of 4 120mm fans, then some sort of "radiator" (to cool the air), and then push the air through pipes to CPU/GPU chipset? Could I keep all my temps at room temperature this way? Of couse, it would be "xtremely" loud at full blast, but I could always control the fans with a regulator.

Well, something like the Vapochill case cooler.

    Any opinions?

Why dont you just increase case airflow. The theory is this... the air in your room is always at room temp. Someone give me a freaking nobel prize already.

    Not enough room for that.

you could find an old a/c unit, and have it set up so that the case draws air from the cold radiator. that'll keep temps down
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

Watercooling is very cheap if you make stuff yourself.

I can make a decent watercooling kit for £50 with only household tools.

or just get a box fan and point it at the open side of your pc, that would put some serious air in your case.

D o S, you could try to cool it with an air condition unit, but it would be cheaper and of alot smaller size to just watercool it as others have mentioned.

hop on over to the watercooling section and make a post. we'd be glad to help.

Mod the thing and stick it ontop your cpu hsf. Should significantly lower your temps if you ever find a way to mount it in place somehwer near that area.

That's pretty much what I did last summer. I ran my window AC unit thru my case into the rest of my living room...the only bad side effect is the AC is pretty old and I had to set it so it wasn't continually on or it would freeze up. Kept the temps of my mobile athlon in the mid 20s to lower 30s at 1.875 vC. I looked like crap though . Some cardboardand both sides of the PC off..doesn't get much more ghetto looking
