    GeForce 6800 Ultra PCI-E with 512MB are shipping now!

    Sparkle GeForce 6800 Ultra PCI-Express with 512MB of GDDR3 RAM will retail for around $849.00 US.
    All cards are shipping now and will be available on store shelves around April 15.

    My personal opinion is, this is very expensive for an extra 256MB of GDDR3 Ram, but, I guess, I will have to wait for some official benchies before I can make a conclusion.

    What comlete and utter dribble.

    Whats the dam point of 512mb on these cards. There not fast enough. 9800XT all over again.

    Now, who's gonna be willing to spend 1700$ on vid cards?
    I highly doubt the 512mb card will outperform 2 6800U's

    Yeah, same feeling here. Just got 2x 6800U for 900$.

    Wow, how much 256mb costs them? 5 cents? or even less! Bringing the price up 75$ would already have been too much...
