310 is a good starting point BIOS-wise for any mem. The 331's vary by type of mem but can be a little "touchy".
Just finished installing the OS and came on here and seen this thread, didnt bother looking around tbh The manual... I dont know why they make them... does anyone actually read them ?

Thanks, I'l check it out and see what I come up with.

Hey guys what do you think are the chances of this thread becoming a sticky as I think that it is rather relivent...at least to the DFI NF4 owners out there...does any one second, third it and so on? Just thought that it "might" be a good idea that this thread dosn't get lost among everything...as it could prove VERY helpfull to people in the future...

The only reason I ask is because pretty soon it will get burried then no one will be able to find it and I have put quite alot of work into it on my free time...Pershoot has also made a rather nice contribution at that...

Well I put it on the front page news so maybe a mod will decide it is sticky worthy. I certainly do. Great thread

I think that the ISO image file should be built with multiple MOBO's on it. Why not compile as many Bios for "recent boards" and add them to the cd. I know the floppy would not be that great but a CD can hold a lot of bios's.

I would be willing to help compile others.

I found 310 final to be better than 331-3 for high/stable htt on tccd.

I flashed to 3.31-3 this am and have been playing with it most of the day and so far to me it been about as stable as 3.10. Its memtest stable up to 330htt@3v any higher fails in test #5 no matter what the volts. I was able to boot at 330 then use clockgen to reach 340htt, It passed sandra and everest but failed super PI. I noticed i lost about 50mbs of bandwidth also a few of the default mem settings caused it to fail memtest untill i adjusted them.Once i get my new videocard im going to play with 3.10 3.10p & 3.31-3 to find which one works the best for me. If there are any others that you think work good with TCCD let me know & ill test it. Thanks.
