    Superpi 2M results wanted!

    Preferably with an FX-55 chip...

there's a guy over at AT that claims his intel 640 at 4.1 can beat an FX chip.

of course he's on crack and there's no way this is possible.

can everyone with an aircooled FX chip post their 2M scores?

    key here is aircooled.

    thanks!

    4.1GHz with 640 2MB L2 cache might come up little short against good FX-55 @ 2.9GHz.

4.3GHz might be some competition I think ....

I just found him on AT - he's also a member here on XS - Sentential

As far as I read, he hasn't run it yet and not provided any time... He says he can beat FX-55 with his 640 @ 4.1GHz with patched SSE3 SuperPi.

This is on a single channel 754 setup at 2560 MHz, I'd really like to see his results... maybe Intel CAN win with high speed DDR2?
