X850XT and XT PE owners please post!

Between today and a couple of months, I'll be moving to a PCIe based setup and since I would like to know if an X850XT-PE is worth the extra bucks over an X850XT in terms of overclocking. I had some bad experiences with going for the cheaper solutions in the past:

    a 9500 wich wasn't moddable to a 9700
    a 9800SE-AiW that wasn't moddable to a 9800PRO AiW
an X800PRO-ViVo that was moddable to an X800XT-PE but it needed voltmods to achieve the XT-PE clocks and it still overclocks for .

This time, I'd like a good card instead of something "half-desent" and yes, I am aware of the all important factor called luck but I'm hoping to see some consistency in overclocks.

So, all X850XT and X850XT-PE owners could you please post the following:

    Brand
    Model
    Core OC
    Mem OC
    Core voltage
Mem voltage (both VDD and VDDQ)
    Core cooling
    Ram cooling

*edit* I overlooked this rather important issue : artifact free OC's please. If you like, you can add your max benchable OC's aswell for comparison *edit*

    thx

VDDQ same as VDD? why is that? these are still the same memory chips as on the X800's no?

    I have a Connect3D X850XT PE and got the following;

Can bench 651core, 651Mem with mods and air.

    Score over 7000 in '05
    and over 15000 in '03

    Brand: Sapphire
    Model: X850XT-PE
    Core OC:702 MHz
Mem OC: 691 MHz (Note the mem was with trp and trcdrd dropped a notch each, all other timings stock to get such a high clock. I would probably run it tighter, as per eshbach's timings today and live with 650's or so)
Core voltage: 1.7V (a hair less actually, maybe 1.675V)
Mem voltage (both VDD and VDDQ): Somewhere near 3.3V each
Core cooling: DD Maze 4 water
Ram cooling: Just some 80mm fans blowing over the card

The card does a bit more on the core under phase, but that would make it a lot harder to compare. 700+ with just a nice water loop impressed me though.

was kinda weird... on that card 655 was artifact free and 660 was already artifacting a lot... on the other card only 627 was artifact free, but the artifacts were small and only appeared every 10 or sometimes 20 seconds, in some tests permanently, but i could bench up to 650 iirc without too bad artifacts...

and the good clocking mem showed dead pixels and long thin black triangles and spikes etc, while the card i have now wich only does 627 on the mem shows me ugly green texture corruption at speeds above 627 for the memory.... and squares of green dots like on old r3xx cards that people tried to softmod from 4 to 8 pipes but had broken pipes... weird eh?

i have the feeling there is one bad memory chip on the card i have now, and the other chips can clock higher than 627 but this one sucker wont

    and holly, wb!

Thanks man Surprised there aren't any other PowerColor results around here.

630 mem gave me artifacts in nature, but it ran without a hitch.

I am using the zalman and the artic silencer probably works well too. I like the zalman cause you get some air over the memory.

    Also check here for mods.

I think there should be temps included as well for idle or load. Especially those running with stock fans
