As long as you don't dabble in the 6600GT class, bring on the benches. I am anxious to see the results.

Yes but if you have a liquid that cold you might as well throw out the tec's and run a sraight block.

Yeah at -40C liquid it would be more effective to not use the TECs.

Left side of this resistor (+) and any ground for VGPU. Your voltage will increase once Windbloze loads the drivers so don't start too high. VR-Zone has a nice BIOS mod for an extra .1v also. I got my cards to 1.77 with pencil/BIOS mods.

Yeah that's what I thought. Geforce doesn't think venice minds the cold but OPP has already tried pc ice's 3500 venice and said that it doesn't like cold temps at all.

I thought pc ice got the Venice so I assumed opp used the winny. well we know the venice is good for -40c, -90c is a whole different story which even some fx55s cant handle. I am not to worried, it depends on the cpu and I believe at least some venice and diego will take -90c

Hey opp, I'm not sure I'd use those 80watt TEc's.

at 13.7V you're looking at about 70watts of cooling power. If you put any sort of load on these cards, I'm afraid the temps will skyrocket. I would look into some 172watt 24V pelts at 24V.

You're free to do what you want, I'd just hate to see you burn up those cards.

And if you try it with those 80watt TEc's, I hope I've drastically overestimated the 6800Ultra's power consumption on the core.

    Just watch the card temps.

I would have to agree. My 50-T would not handle a X800XT under load at stock volts with 13+v on the TEC. The temp would slowly climb and not stop. And that was with water cooled to around 8 C by drawing cold outside air to rad.

I see Opp is wandering up the first page without volt mod yet using the 66.93 drivers to be fully legit.

yea 6800 ultra are about 75watts. That is 75 watts power consumption, not dissipation, im sure the heat disipation is no where near 80watts.

    Well here's the story

The MCW-T blocks worked OK, 16C Idle, from what I could tell they went up to 26C load or so.

    #8 in 05 and #6 in 03
    3D05

    3D03

My memory ran good, 1300s, the core on the other hand sucked, 470. I need to test each card seperatly and see if one card is a dog or somthing, if so I'll have to replace it.
I didn't use the mods, the cards were hot enough as it was.

Next will be with cascade cooling, an extra 100C of cooling should take care of bussiness.
