I've got the same problem. I've even started RMA procedure. But it seems to be on die memory controler in my Venice that causes all the problems. I've asked my friend to check them on his rig and everything was just fine. I'm also on the 510-2 FIX bios and this one seems to be the best. My current max stable rig is CPU@9x294MHz RAM@265MHz div183 and very nice alpha timings 2,5-3-5-3-7-12-1-2-1-2-4708. One MHz more and no tweaks can help to stabilize these modules. I can run them as PC4400 modules only with the 7x multiplier (or lower). With my Winchester I had no such problems

In such case like this when you don't know which component causes the problem, try one module in bank 1 (yellow) and run memtest86++. A defective module gives errors wether it is at dual or single channel.
A very bad memorycontroller can also be the issue, but 275MHz 2.5-3-3-7 1T must be achievable with nowadays memorycontrollers.
If your results def. indicates bad ram, ask RMA by emailing rma@gskill.com.
Though I'm not using G.Skill RAM yet I think this is a very fine support here done by KAKAROTO - don't U think so guys ?

Great guide. Unfortunately my first set of LE's were defective. Neither one would run at 275 using the settings here without errors. My new set I just got today is running great in dual channel at 278 2.5-3-3-6. Both sets were 516 TCCD's.

well, one thing more, best bios for TCCD users? im new on dfi need little helpOriginally Posted by Transonic
That depends on you. From what I've seen everybody has a different bios that works best for them. Assuming you're talking about a DFI nf4 board as long as it's a "-3" bios for TCCD then you should be fine. 623-3 is the latest and lots of people like it. I use 414-3 but there's many more. 310p is a good place to start then work your way through the betas. Good luck. DL the bioses here:Originally Posted by sponge bob

I followed this guide for my corsair 4400C25PT, but they only like 2.5-4-3-6 in Dual channel..... But each stick individually maxes out at 224 2.5-3-3-6 & 218 2.5-3-3-6 all at 2.8V....
I think the problems the motherboard because I have swapped from a FX55 Claw to a FX55SD & they max out in Dual Channel at the same point....
My new G.Skill LAs wont run with 3-4-4-8 on 250 Mhz... ;( These settings MUST BE stable.. kakarote runs them with 2,5-3-3-6... Stable.. My ones arent stable with 3-4-4-8 .. What now?
CPU mem controler might be the problem. Test with another CPU.
If it doesn't work, go for RMA.

My new LEs are not stable @ 250 Mhz! I cant be the memcontroller.. Every memcontroller nowadays makes 250 Mhz! Its a Toledo and i know many people who run them with 300 Mhz and more, CPUs of the Same Manufacture week!
With these settings it is unstable 250 Mhz and 2,7 V... What can i try to get it stable!?
Your Picture is not working.Originally Posted by WulleWuu
Indeed, 250MHz is a bit low for 1GB LE. There are two things that might be happening to your memory. 1. It is defective 2. There is a crucial BIOS setting wrong.
To test it, set everything to AUTO and vddr to 2.7v. First try two dimms (orange banks), which you might already have done. Then try one module a time. You can test with Memtest86++, but i prefere Memtest 3.2 for windows or Prime/SP2004 -> RAM stress for a while.
If the settings in the guide are not working, then their must be something wrong with the memory.
If the memory is defective, please ask RMA by emailing rma@gskill.com
