Any recommendations? Going old school and want to be able to OC in windows without having to reboot into BIOS. E8600/Rampage extreme or 780i.

Thanks Zen, I'm not sure setfsb will work with an asus rampage extreme mobo. That chipset (x48), nor the mobo model is listed on the setfsb website. I have a nvidia lga775 780i chipset mobo, and that is not listed either. Any ideas?

BTW, I'm just looking for CPU OC utilities, I already have my other favs.

its not a matter of chipset rather than clock generator

So it looks like I might have to pay for setfsb?? What do I get for the paid version? I haven't DL'd anything yet.

You can use old setfsb version which is free. ASUS REX is the best board I've ever had

Forgive for my English because I only learn it

You can use the joystick and LCD to OC with the REX. Some prefer Set FSB though. Can't beat a REX and 8600 combo, so much win with that setup
