that nail polish ain't too pretty, have you tried clear nail varnish or laquer, also, when i used tec's i used to use vaseline, which seemed to work, but it can get messy.

I assume it’s essentially the same for a P4 system?

Basically yes,the important is have an air-tight mounting,i think it can be done easily if you put a layer of sheet neoprene in the front of the mobo to catch the foam donut

Hey guys, would it be a wise idee to use Plastik 70 to prevent against condensation?
Only the Plastik 70, no neophrene or stuff like that. It's only for some quick benches with waterchiller. Or to dangerous?

Got some other stuff today: Flex Seal

I think it's for sealing up heat places in/near car motors. But since the explanations on it are in all sorts of Scandinavian languages I can't really tell what this product can do or wat it can't do. Didn't found any English info.

What I can share you is a little test I did:

I mounted the little pistol on the head, pressed it, on so came a black sausage out of it. First when it came out it feld a bit like grease, but with less viscosity. But if u wait some hours it transforms to some kind of rubber/silicone.

Anyone used this before? Must be handy to seal up self made waterblocks, or maybe to use around socket area for airtight seal'n.

So if I plan on using this in a case, I should use the backplate of the A64? I ddn't have a 939 board yet, but I'm planning to upgrade. I might be getting a Vapo XE that's be modified with the chilly 1 unit, do I need to bother with the foam on the backplate or can I just use nail polish or the back of the board?

    Durty grease.

If the grease can be avoided it is a wonderful thing. Not to fun cleaning that crap out of a socket. While it protects the pins and socket nicely it is easily contaminated.
The closed cell foam approach is the only way to fly and airtight means no grease which can keep our environment cleaner!

Hi I am about to purchase a XS chilly off someone in the UK which says that he knows chilly personally, I asked him what would happen if the unit went wrong and it had to be repaired which he wrote back and said : "If their is a problem with the item I will repair it.I assemble the kits here in the UK and test them for specification I have several years experience of doing Phase Change mods and Chilly1 himself knows the standard I work to."

his email is austin and xtremesystems316 on ebay can chilly himself confirm he knows this guy or any of you say the price is a bit much, to find his vapo type phase change or his username sorry to bother you guys I just want to find some info before buying.
