    400 = 1:1
    333 = 5:4
    266 = 3:2

    Try running 5:4 and see what you get. Then run some benchies at 1:1 and 5:4 to see what gives you better performance, if you are concerned with that.

    Not much luck. I guess my problem is the cooling. It can't be the RAM unless ddr500 just isn't enough. ADATA manufactures their own chips so they should be top notch. If I ever get the money I'll get PC4400 or something. Maybe some OCZ.

    I also have an asus p4c800 e deluxe rev2 and a P4 2.4c. I'm a noob in soldering but i will try.

    A few questions:

    Do i have to do both vcore mods or only the droop mod ( my vcore is drooping)? I don't understand why u did a vcore mod (you can set your vcore pretty high in bios)

    Do I have to use tin?

    thanks

    You have to do only the Vdrop mod

    You don't need the Vcore drop because you have a Northwood and this mobo is able to give to Northwood as many Volts as you want, from bios.
    The problem is with prescotts....the mobo can't give more than 1,6 volts from bios!

    beware...if you want to run a very high vdimm and 3.3V rail, put some sinks over mosfets arround CPU and some fan to cool them.

    I burned one mobo becase there were no cooling running vdimm @ 3.6

    Go here. Please, note that for the droop mod on the P4P800 has changed after Asus made a revision on it. Do a search here for it, and you'll find the other way to do it, if your revision is different than the one on that site.

    Does increasing the 3.3v rail effect the temps of the mosfets?

    hello everyone. im new here. this looks like a great forum for modding, so i registered.
    i am in dire need of the vcore mod on my p4p800 e deluxe. ive done vdroop and vdimm, and they both work excellently.
    i attempted the vcore mod by soldering a VR to pin 8 (fb) and ground on the ADP3180 IC, but had no impact on my vcore. ive never seen anyone actually say that it works on their p4p800 e dlx. apart from the p4c800 dlx, i dont know of any mobo that has the same ADP3180 IC. any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    is there perhaps a very fine line in the VR adjustment that enables vcore change. the volts stayed the same for me as i reduced the resistance toward 0K, but got to a point where the screen goes blank and wont reboot till up the resistance a little.

    For P4P800 mods go here. Compare the boards layout and see if it works for you.
