Nice work! I've been looking for this1.

About those heat spreaders....are they really useful? I mean...I have an open case and two 80mm blowing over it...is taht enough or should I put some spreaders on?

OK. Am..can you upload just one more...then entire board so we can see where to put spreaders? Or you have them on every mosfet? And....what about NB cooling?

You should put heat spreaders on every mosfet.
For the NB I use the default heat spreader with a 4 cm fan blowing air on it!

Hi again, I've switched to asus p4c800-e dlx, since abit ic7 wasnt good enough

Mods are done, but haven't tested OC yet..."working" ATM...

I jave 3.2 D0 SL7E5, is your CPU the same?

If it is...how did u set the droop trimmer? 27k ohm or smth else?

And final question...which bios version are you using?

You have 2khom?? Omg, other ppl advice to use 27kohm or even 36

Is your voltage stable then? Mine is 1.552 - 1.520.

    Let me try this bios

Yes it is very stable . During the 32m bench the volts were between 1,71 and 1,68volts from mm5!

I think low values of the resistance gives stability both in high (over 1,6 volts) and low voltages but high values of the resistance like 27 kohm or 36 kohm gives stability only in low voltages like 1,5 or 1,55 volts.

that is of what I have seen in my mobo!

It was a 2.4C north. I believe it does not matter.

I dont know what i'm doing wrong here...

    I have p4c800-e dlx and SL7E5 as mentioned above...but I have a huge droop!

The vcore pops arround like a monkey, from 1.488 all the way up to 1.553 ! Well that are spikes, but i think they shound't be there...

    Any ideas about it?

I've tunned the trimmer a little bit now.

And droop under load is as malves said...0.016, it droops from 1.52 to 1.504. But the problem is vcore when idle...it's 1.554.

Isn't that a little too high for pressy? I run my PC 24/7...

when you use the vdrop mod you have a little overvoltage! when idle!
