i really think its the board (dfi nf3 754) It has already killed 3 gigs of ram just by turning it off, i think I need to pick me up another one. It killed my good gig of ch-5, my good gig of twinmos utt so im not gonna risk too much with this ram, im sure its better than the board will let it be. I stuck my gskill in it last night and now it will only work in this board and not my msi while it was doing 300 @ 2.5,3,3,7 like it was nothin in my msi.

is there a time restriction on this? cause i wont really be able to push these sticks for 2 months when i finish piecing my rig together, it will go in my current one as of now

so, this summer if i got a bad stick or two, would they still allow me to opt for a dissatisfaction return?

EDIT 2: i will take pics when it comes

So my two sticks seem well done after several nights of memtest burn-in. Stick #1 memtests clean at 260 (3.4V), however, #2 tests clean at 240 (3.4V). I guess I'll need another stick to match up with #1 or I put stick #2 back in the oven some more. Who coulda thought that running memtest could be so fun!

    Max: Mushkin BLUE

Well after a week of toying around....

I have 2 x 512mB Mushkin BLUE UTT running clean north of 270.... at 3.6v. If I could get the sticks cooler I could possibly use 3.7v and hit 275+

Bandwidth wise, though... I get my best numbers at 310, asynch, 183 divider, around 8000mb/s with 9x divider, not bad...
    But here it is:

My mum used to tell me that when i was in 4th grade ...

Guess there is a reason he uses 'em while there is none in jumping off a bridge

I probably would jump off a bridge if OPP did. I mean..hes def. not an idiot..so i trust his judgement that it is safe. Im pretty sure hes not suicidal and doesnt wanna get hurt..so count me in

260 is a good result Tedy Not all sticks will run 270+... and after a week of burn-in and a little more tweaking, who knows

    --- Charlie ---

Nice results! Would you be so kind as to post up an A64 tweaker shot for Tedy?

hey I have a question, Dumo was running 240 and got 7688mb/s and Charlie only managed 7288mb/s @273. Does the extra 1 and a half megs of cache and 950 mhz help that much in memory transfer? Or am I missing something?.... I guess it would depend on what the multi was right? or is it just Sis software?
