Well lets see how my luck turns out. Grabbed 4 from outpost (didn't want to drive to Fry's.. lol)
If it even hits 230 2-2-2 with some decent voltage (3.5-3.7 is okay on my book) I guess I should be happy waiting for venice for 2GB. Thought about grabbing another pair of BH-5 but my ram costs are going out of roof at this rate so might as well see the actual benefit with 2GB instead of premium 1GB pieces I have all over the place now
If it is half decent, guess the BH-5 will be on sale (1GB pair that does 270 @ 3.6-3.7v stable everything :P)
Getting to stage of my gaming life where 1GB just doesnt' cut it anymore... that is scarey...

ive got 3 sticks total now.

    #1 = 272 @ 3.6v

    #2 = 252 @ 3.4v

    #3 = 250 @ 3.4v

any volts over 3.5 on stick #2 and #3 will result in bsod. however #1 loves the juice. it will run with up to 4v no problem

now to find a brother for stick #1

chinkgai, could you please check if your 4th stick actually IS UTT?
If yes, than it is probably the worst UTT ever, if it's not, man then mushkin would be as much of a gamble as everything else

These sticks are starting to "glow" now. They just memtested clean at 240MHz after 3 nights of memtest burn-in. WOOT!

Here is quick report on 4 sticks I got.
Bottom line: all of them does 2-2-2-5 240mhz fine. (SPD seems 2-2-2-6 on DFI-NF4 while auto yields 2-3-2-5) @ 3.2v
    Stick 1:
    241 2-2-2-5 3.2v
    244 2-2-2-5 3.3v
Higher volt doesn't yeild any benefit.
    Stick 2:
    243 2-2-2-5 3.2v
    245 2-2-2-5 3.3v
Higher volt doesn't yeild any benefit.
    Stick 3:
    255 2-2-2-5 3.2v
    256 2-2-2-5 3.3v
    259 2-2-2-5 3.4v
Higher volt doesn't yeild any benefit.
    Stick 4:
    253 2-2-2-5 3.2v
    255 2-2-2-5 3.3v
Higher volt doesn't yeild any benefit.

Interestingly enough, unlike BH-5 or most VX I had played it, the memory is shy of higher voltage. 3.7v on stick 2 actually made sure that it won't even post. Putting each stick on dual channle results in about 1-2mhz speed reduction from lowest speed memory on stability test.
Now, here is the kicker for me. I am using winchester with 4x512mb 1T 230mhz 2-2-2-5 right now with this memory @ 3.2v. Once I use it for some time, I might slowly increase speed or take off the HS and see what potential it holds (or when venice comes). I wasn't sure if 1T is even possible with 2GB but I guess it is to lesser degree. Running prime 95 with heavy memory test and it only uses 1.2gb Time to hit up WoW and see how much smoother it is without HDD thrasing now.

PS) All in all, I can highly recommend this memory based on 4 sticks I got. This is in par of what OCZ VX PC-3200 was semi promised at. (min 240 2-2-2-5 with 3.2v posted by one of OCZ employee while back or their testing method for screening) You probably won't get 260-270 2-2-2-5 like VX series would but it seems to get you 240 2-2-2-5 with no problem which is more than what this memory is worth Warning: brick and mortar Fry's has it for $80 a pop while outpost has it for significantly cheaper Seriously pondering about grabbing another gig of this stuff for my 3rd desktop :P

Does WoW thrash much with 1gb? I'm still running 2x256mb while I wait for my new 2x512mb kit to arrive. It sure does thrash alot with 512mb of ram in highly populated areas (like IF).

1 Gig works well if you don't have anything on background running :P In IF, 1gig still would stutter occasionally but not that bad. You can just look at how frequently hdd is getting accessed to see where the problem lies. I figured since I am spending so much $$$ and going after that last few percent all the time, thinking saving on memory for once and reducing highly visible lowest common denominator would be good idea and it seems to be paying off (will find out more around afternoon today... on the lagforge :P)

And I prefer leaving few applications on while playing games for whatever quick things that crosses my mind at time.

May be more of a heat issue than voltage issue... from my experience Mushkin's spreader method tends to trap heat more than not with the tape they use.

my mushy's wont go over 230 at any volts but for the price I spent im not complaining. Im starting to think is my board crapping out now. My bh-5 or my utt do the same thing, top out at 230 while they used to top out at 270-280

Try re-flashing the bios. Sometimes DFI's need a fresh flash to return to optimal functionality

Same MB, same timings on the DIMMs that could but now don't? Do you have a DFI nF4 (ask because Skip and someone else experienced slow-death-syndrome where their max clocks slowly went down until ultimately croaking) Unlikely, but... have another MB or friend with one you can verify the DIMMs haven't diminished? And if you use Auto timings anywhere - don't, they can get funky sometimes when swapping around different memory.
