    Question Mods for the q-tec 450watt, dual fan PSU

    Is there any mods for this psu?
    if yes, can you give me a link, or a guide, or some pictures.

    Welcome to the forum!
    If the PSU has sense wires then you just need to do a sense wire mod on the PSU. There should be lots of information about sense wire mods on the forums. If there are no sense wires, you will have to look for internal variable resistors in the power supply to change the voltages.

    you gotta do some proper internal jobs for the qtec i believe, do a search, there was something about qtec psu's some time ago, but i don't know how much help they were....personally i wouldn't know, my qtec blew up last christmas :P

    If you had a 550W model, no problem those are easely moddeble into good PSU's.

    But anything but that 550W model sux big time, so also your model... I think that the best you can do, is buy a better PSU. If money isn't that big problem ofcourse At least you can try to buy some quality PSU 2ndhand, did it myself that way
