lol, i actually owned a voodoo pci 5500 back in the day and it was just as big as that dual 6800... reminds me of the old days, that card BARELY fit into my pos Compaq case. I think Asus just got a lil carried away... They should stick to motherboards... Err, maybe that's the problem... lol

Worth noting though, that it's a full size 80mm....

That's one of the trash V56Ks, that Intel controller dies in just a few weeks. The ones with the Hint controller are the ones you can acctually use, but you need to solder a new auxillery power connecer onto the card.
For those of you about to post:

lol, funny how you guys find the pci of the card surfing on the net and on hardocp when we were the first non asian site that had the pics of it

the final card will actually not be smaller but have the same size! i think its 4 layer pcb iirc and asus doesnt want to go 6 layer because of the heat inside the pcb wich makes sence with two 6800s
the cooling is not yet decided! they might go for watercooling!

oh and the final cards will most likely be 6800gt and not ultra because ultras are too hot and cost a lot more.

I saw it at CeBIT.... They used chains to hold it on the wall.... It was too heavy for the normal glue.

I've talked with ASUS about that card too. The fact that they will only be 4 Layer will slow it down a bit, but the PCB tech not advanced enough yet to have 6 Layer with 2 6800 cores and still be alive.... Those are still Micro Devices you know. They should have 2 versions, one 6800 non-ultra AirCooled and one 6800 GT probably watercooled, but they SHOULDN'T release two versions of the GT, one Air Cooled and one Watercooled because the market wont be big enough...
