    CD ROM not working

    I booted my PC 2day & I dont c the CD ROM, I go 2 device manager & this is what I c

    what has changed since last time you booted? Have you checked to see if your cables are all connected, sometimes my molex cables like to shimmy out of the cdrom drives

    You need to finish installing your MOBO's chipset drivers before you get worried about things not working, dude.

    Yellow "!"s in the Dev manager mean you have some work left before the installation of XP is complete, that's all.

    Finish the driver install and see if that doesn't fix it.

    If not, check the jumpers and if you can't figure it out from there, post back.
