How fast have you driven??

I lost my NY license by getting caught doing 105mph in a 65 zone.

I hit 125 in a '90 Taurus SHO, late for work when the network was down (was a net admin at the time).

I also reached 210km/h (about 130mph) in a bmw 325i on the E19 in Belgium, but that isn't all that out of the ordinary for belgium...

Heh, I have done some rather serious speeding back in the day.
I had a '70 Monte Carlo and used to do over 140mph down a side street here in Wichita. Man, I loved that!!! (Btw, the Speed limit was 30)
No clue how I did it though! Drive down it now and just.. wow...

other then that, Couldnt say for sure... Ive gone up to 160 once or twice... what can I say? I love speed!!!!!!!!!

Other then that, heh... just try to keep the lead foot a lil on the lite side. Try to make sure I dont go over 5-10 over the speed limit.

A little over 180Mph coming down to Nevada state line on the I15 at 4AM in the morning.

I get up to 140Mph coming around mount charleston.

Santa Monica to Las Vegas in under 3 hours many times. Average speed 120+

well in this question, PORTUGAL rulez!! we are the worst drivers of EUROPE, we are the country with most car accidents, we are the country in europe with most deaths in car accidents, we also are the firsts on europe in alchool consume, all i can say is that portugal kicks ass, yeah and we have thrown stones at nickelback this summer at ermal, lololol they probably won't get back to portugal so soon, well but it is also comproved in a scientific study that envolved other countrys that the portuguese man is the man with highest number of sexual relations for mounth, and also the hottest man on the planet! Those babes out there that have already been at portugal can confirm it. uhuhuh

heh, i got my pos '84 celica up to 110 MPH with 3 other people in the car. a cow walked out onto the road and i missed it by less than a foot.

needless to say i never drive that fast anymore.

I've seen 130 mph in my '89 IrocZ 5.7 TPI and still had more but I was running out of road, Have seen 160 mph on a 93 ZX1100, and the time slip from the track had me touch 192 mph in a Gas Rail Dragster, thats a small Top Fuel Dragster that runs on a Gas and Nitromethane mix.

heh, that reminds me of when I got air in my old '68 chevelle convertable going about 90mph... we were all floating for a few seconds, and then BAM!! Upon landing I broke two body mounts (front fenders).

140 in Corvette ZR1......My boss let me borrow his car because it was my birthday and I was going on 1st date with a hot little blond....that was about 10 or 15 years ago. There was more speed there, but the look of terror on her face made me chicken out. LOL

I did that in an '89 chevy picup. Hit a big rail road crossing at 80 or so, took out all 4 of my shocks, but that was it as far as I know.

I've topped out my bike once at 125 indicated, prolly 115-120 actual. Doing 85mph in my 84 S10 on a loose gravel dirt road was much more frightening.

I had a friend who tried to outrun South Carolina troopers in his camaro. His father had to make a large donation to get him out of jail.

I raced a BMW in my Eagle Talon doing 115mph in traffic on a Chicago highway. I cut between two cars at that speed with very little room to spare. My heart did not stop beating fast for 15 minutes.

I went just a little over 100MPH in my LeBaron Convertible on a very back road. It's a little scary because the road is very bumpy.
I really don't like going fast, I am paranoid about getting a ticket. That's the fastest I have ever went, my Tempo didn't even go past 85.

I did 155mph in a Budget rental car in the rain near London.

I also once overtook a police car at 137mph by mistake. It was dark and I did not spot him in the inside lane.

Finally, I also was doing 115mph in a clapped out car and my wife told me to slow down. It's ok I told her, this car can take it. Within 15 seconds of saying that the head gasket failed and the radiator expansion resovoir got so hot it split.

How we both laughed.

142 mph coming through the quarter mile traps at Milan Dragway. Quarter mile time was 10.32. This was in my blown 91 Mustang coupe.

But...that was legal I suppose. Unfortunately my speedometer only goes up to 140...so I have no idea what I've hit on the road. But...I've burried it a few times

errrrrrrr.. could anyone tell me how many km/h is 1mph? Here in Portugal we only use km/h.
