If he does it on a track, sure. If he does it on a public road, which I use, with the risk of injuring or killing me... I don't want to be near him on the roads. He seems very proud of his reckless driving

Dirt roads, small town, boondocks, etc
Everyone screws around in the boonies, including the residents. It's all in good fun. If it was in a city/residential neighborhood/interstate, yeah maybe it would be a huge problem haha.

Fold for XS!
You know you want to
You don't see a problem here?? Let me break it down...
That's more than ANY legal speed limit. At that speed, the distance covered during your reaction time is greatly increased.the fastest i have ever been on the road was about 165 on a honda 996 street bike
25MPH sound residential zone to me. If a kid runs into the road he's beyond dead. That's more than FOUR TIMES the limit.my "best" speeding ticket was for 108 in a 25 mph zone
That's over triple the limit, see above.the fastest i have ever got a ticket for was 98 mph in a 30 mph zone...
If a road is in bad condition you slow down, your car isn't going to survive hitting a pothole at 75MPH just because the speed limit is 75...i wrecked my truck on a class four road (not maintained by the town or state)
I don't know about there, but in South Africa it is a legal requirement to alert the police of anything more than a fender bender. The "jackass" was obeying the law while you weren't.some jackass drove by and stopped at the next house and called the cops on me
Leaving the scene of an accident is also an offence.i fled the scene and was heading back to my house
So they're law abiding citizens, what's the problem? If you're "man enough" to break the law, be "man enough" to accept the consequences.MOTHER F*CKERS i was with turned around and LITERALLY handed me to the damn police
That is illegal in all states.i blew a .22
Time for your car to be impounded.not like taking it away is going to stop me from driving lmao, but w/e floats there boat i guess
They're just doing their job, and that makes them pigs? Why, for ruining your ILLEGAL "fun"?the "local" pigs
Ah, so you're waaay above the law.in all i think i have had 16 speeding tickets
Running away from cops is cowardice, be man enough to accept the consequences of your actions. Again, illegal.there is no cop around here that can outdrive me on a dirt road over 100 mph i have proved that many times lol
I've seen it happen several times that a car wheelspins and the tires heat up enough to get immense grip. If that happened to you and you hit someone, what would you do?or the 400 feet of rubber i left in the parking lot on the last day of school
You can't have been legally driving for more than five years, meaning you total an average of more than one car per year. That implies pure recklessness.im 21 atm and all the car wrecks ( 7 totaled trucks, and more then one of them was on there side/roof more then once...)
I have had two friends killed by idiots on the roads thinking that they're above the law and the best drivers in the world.

0j, on your calling cops pigs being wrong, some cops are legit but most atlast were i am are duechbags that cannot do anything else if they are on local patrol or transit, IE johannes mehserle who executes a black kid then the trial gets moved and all that happens is he gets off and then admits that he became a cop for the power to the local tv, then there are the crooked ones and the ones who just with kids, like how i got my only ticket from a guy giving me a ticket for being a kid then the judge rubber stamped it affter he changed his story multiple times in court. so when u actually deal with a cop its normally a douche ing with u so alot of people dont like cops.

If you're innocent, by all means. But with a rap sheet like this guy's got I dare say he has no place calling them pigs.

The only thing I have to say is that at least in California, you only have to alert the police of an accident when it is between two vehicles and there are injuries. The case above of hitting a tree and coming out unharmed do not qualify for calling the police. Same goes for leaving the scene of an accident, if you are the only one in an accident, you dont have to stay there...

Imagine you see an overturned car. Do you:
A. Call the police in case someone is hurt, or
B. Pretend nothing happened

Oh of course I would call the police. I dont disagree with anything you said above, I was merely correcting the legal statements made.
I can however identify with the man that crashed his truck. Back in January I cornered quickly and had the tierod end pop out from the spindle on the right hand side of the front of my vehicle while turning. I hit the center median (a curb with dirt behind it) at about 45 MPH. I was fine, but the suspension on my vehicle was destroyed. The police never showed up during the 45 minutes that it took for the tow truck to arrive. I rebuilt my car and have been driving it again since June. Yes, thats the vehicle in my signature, and yes that is an 'after' photo.

Highest I hit today I think was 85 weaving traffic to pass two tractor trailers in the fast lane kicking up a ton of rocks and dirt (one of the things that will set me off instantly on the road).

I got ticketed passing two trucks on an expressway before... Its kind of the reason I rarely let myself go more than 7-8 over on the highway.... Everyone else gos 80 so I'm fine. :p
But the other night I was tired of this guy who kept slowing down to 35 in a 55 almost randomly like he was on the phone or something. I waited for the guy in front of me to pass, but he didn't. So I decided after 20 minutes of that I was done and when I got visibility on a 2 mile straight I shifted it into manual mode and hit the gas. The 50-100 was pretty quick... I didn't notice how fast I was going until I pulled back into the lane and checked my speed.

Yeah, they only made the GXP a manual. They probably would have gave the GT a manual if Pontiac stuck around, but we all knew that wasn't going to happen (GM began its execution with a bunch of Rental favorites rather than performance....) I could go on all day about what I would have done.... I've been talking about it since ~2000...
Anyways, it won't be too hard to get my hands on a center console piece for a manual shifter. I may decide to do that in the meantime and when I eventually get a A-B cheapo car to drive I'll really do some work on this bad boy. Starting with a Tricoat paint job (I like a Deep Blue with a purple hint, kind of like the Morpheus color they never made available in the states). A Manual tranny and a supercharger and we'll have a nice and peppy 500+ HP and torque...
