I used to drag race sleds, the fastest i have gone in 1000 feet is 129mph, that is a rush, the fastest i have ever been on the road was about 165 on a honda 996 street bike, my "best" speeding ticket was for 108 in a 25 mph zone......after the cop pulled his gun on me because i had a pistol on my passengers seat (forgot all about it till the cop pulled his gun...) in the end i got LET OFF, the cop knew my father that at the time was the road commissioner for the town, the fastest i have ever got a ticket for was 98 mph in a 30 mph zone....i lost my license for a year over that, shortly after i got it back i wrecked my truck on a class four road (not maintained by the town or state), i bought and paid for the truck that summer, some jackass drove by and stopped at the next house and called the cops on me (normally because of where i live it would take the police about 3 hrs to get there, but just my luck they where having a training exercise with the fire dept a few towns over, so they made it there in about 20 min....gah) i fled the scene and was heading back to my house (got a ride from some ppl up the road) to get the skidder loaded up on the trailer to go and get it, as we went down the road the police came and the MOTHER F*CKERS i was with turned around and LITERALLY handed me to the damn police.....i blew a .22 and i was under 21 no less....spent the night in the detox room, so atm i am without a license yet again...not like taking it away is going to stop me from driving lmao, but w/e floats there boat i guess

and those r but a few of my adventures i have had with the "local" pigs....in all i think i have had 16 speeding tickets, i would have had a lot more if i would have stopped for them ha ha, if im around a dirt road i dont stop for them, there is no cop around here that can outdrive me on a dirt road over 100 mph i have proved that many times lol, there was a few days at school where the cops where in the parking lot looking at my truck, then the school cop following me out of the parking lot, he never did stay behind me long...lol, and he ALWAYS gave me a dirty look in the halls, but after the fact there is nothing that they can do, he really didnt like it 2 well, or the 400 feet of rubber i left in the parking lot on the last day of school

i have deff calmed down a lot, im 21 atm and all the car wrecks ( 7 totaled trucks, and more then one of them was on there side/roof more then once...) r starting to catch up 2 me, my neck and back r pretty fubard from them

That's more than ANY legal speed limit. At that speed, the distance covered during your reaction time is greatly increased.

The only thing I have to say is that at least in California, you only have to alert the police of an accident when it is between two vehicles and there are injuries. The case above of hitting a tree and coming out unharmed do not qualify for calling the police. Same goes for leaving the scene of an accident, if you are the only one in an accident, you dont have to stay there...

Back in January I cornered quickly and had the tierod end pop out from the spindle on the right hand side of the front of my vehicle while turning. I hit the center median (a curb with dirt behind it) at about 45 MPH. I was fine, but the suspension on my vehicle was destroyed. The police never showed up during the 45 minutes that it took for the tow truck to arrive. I rebuilt my car and have been driving it again since June. Yes, thats the vehicle in my signature, and yes that is an 'after' photo.

I got ticketed passing two trucks on an expressway before... Its kind of the reason I rarely let myself go more than 7-8 over on the highway.... Everyone else gos 80 so I'm fine. :p

But the other night I was tired of this guy who kept slowing down to 35 in a 55 almost randomly like he was on the phone or something. I waited for the guy in front of me to pass, but he didn't. So I decided after 20 minutes of that I was done and when I got visibility on a 2 mile straight I shifted it into manual mode and hit the gas. The 50-100 was pretty quick... I didn't notice how fast I was going until I pulled back into the lane and checked my speed.

They probably would have gave the GT a manual if Pontiac stuck around, but we all knew that wasn't going to happen (GM began its execution with a bunch of Rental favorites rather than performance....) I could go on all day about what I would have done.... I've been talking about it since ~2000...

Anyways, it won't be too hard to get my hands on a center console piece for a manual shifter. I may decide to do that in the meantime and when I eventually get a A-B cheapo car to drive I'll really do some work on this bad boy. Starting with a Tricoat paint job (I like a Deep Blue with a purple hint, kind of like the Morpheus color they never made available in the states). A Manual tranny and a supercharger and we'll have a nice and peppy 500+ HP and torque...

They did the same thing with my Thunderbird when it came out in 1989, they only put the Manuals on the supercharged cars, and mines NA. Im looking to swap mine out too.

dont those run the ls1 or 2 so if u tune it then u would have to replace the ECU so why not get the menumatic they use now then u would not have to much modding (like putting a clutch would) u get gear control and a 6 speed
