i would love one of those with deck spoiler, painted in reverse panda, with a gze or gte swap. but i can see how it would be impractical since they cannot have more than 2 people and u cannot carry much and they dont get respect in general and those 4ag are kinda weak in the US were u can get an sx or talon or mx5 and get a nice 2-2.4L that u can use forced induction on without a swap if u wanted a tuner car. or for the amount u spend building up one of those u can get a wrx or get something nice and new like u did with the evora or even go cheaper like the fe86 next year.

FT86 is defined on my list of cars to check out. the plan for the 240 was to do an LS1 swap. the 86 was the daily while i work on the 240. but the 86 does have a lot of potential. you can swap a 3sgte for pretty cheap. 4ag may suck going straight, but they are awesome in turns, which is what i care about.

Well late last year I got a free 2000 Chrysler Cirrus 4cyl 24valve DOHC LX, after I was forced to donate my old 95 GMC Sonoma to Cancer Research. The head gasket had gone south for the third time and we were sick of spending money on it.

The story of this car is I got it from my step-father after his father gave it to him after moving into a retirement home. It was totally filthy and in really lousy shape (aesthetically). I'm guessing he was old and never had the energy to clean it. When I got it, it was a complete mess. A huge can of sunflower seeds had spilled over behind the front seats and had been ground into the carpet from foot traffic. I had to take apart the automatic lever assembly, completely and parts of the interior, to clean out the disgusting gooey grime that had found its way into every crevice and crack, and the same stuff was pretty much everywhere. Took me about a week to clean the interior. I also had to empty tons of trash and garbage from the trunk, and pretty much every glove compartment and pocket. Enough to fill several large trash cans. Really gross. I don't think he ever threw away a single oil container in his life. Also that greasy armorall spray was all over the windows and I had to scrub it off like 5 times.... there's still traces of it. The tires were all incredibly low, and a bunch of other stuff I've been working on and cleaning. Its looking better now, the interior looks completely overhauled compared to what it used to look like. But now the right rear speaker is going, so until its fixed I can only listen to music from the front speakers. *sigh*

You guys probably remember the mess I went through with the damaged front breaks from a past mechanic who installed them improperly and broke the clips, eventually ruining the calipers. The surface of the headlights are really messed up so that's also something I need to fix. I'll also have to repair the paint since its so nasty and faded looking, if I can get the heavy grime off of it. I also need to fix a chip in some thick black paint on top edge of the doors (not sure how to do that yet). Then I'll have to find new hubcaps for it since the stock ones are all messed up... I'd like to find some that blend in with the shape of the wheel, so the holes look more intentional instead of just punched out holes.

So far I've actually been impressed with its performance, its no BMW but its a hell of a lot more fun to drive than my step dad's Camry which I've test driven a few times, and it can shrug off those tight circle shaped turn offs at 55mph, has a lot of passing power, it gets off the line very quick, and the engine is incredibly responsive compared two anything else my family has ever owned, the seats are incredibly comfortable and support my back well, its spacious with a big ass trunk, and if you drive like a grandma you can get a decent 28mpg out of it which is damn good for a free car. I know its not a GREAT car, but its mine and its the best car I've ever owned and I'm happy with it for now. Eventually when I get my act together I'll get a sports car.

This isn't my car, but this is the exact model, year, color, hubcaps, etc.:

Hmmmm maybe I should have it painted black? (if I can ever afford it)

This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions, twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.

    175xxx miles, 5-speed, WRX wheels
    Power windows/locks/mirrors/seat belts
    A/C and cruise control

    Cost $200
Cheap because some meth head cut the catalytic converters out when it broke down due to a broken clutch cable.
They thought it would need a new transmission and $1k exhaust. Found used headers to tailpipe exhaust for $100, $50 o2 sensor, $25 clutch cable.
    $375 total

Just need's struts all around for ~$300 and she's as good as new.
